Subject: [PATCH v4 6/7] write_ref_sha1(): only invalidate the loose ref cache
Date: Mon, 17 Oct 2011 04:38:10 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1318819091-7066-7-git-send-email-mhagger@alum.mit.edu> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1318819091-7066-1-git-send-email-mhagger@alum.mit.edu>

From: Michael Haggerty <mhagger@alum.mit.edu>

Since write_ref_sha1() can only write loose refs and cannot write
symbolic refs, there is no need for it to invalidate the packed ref
cache.
