Subject: [PATCH v5 03/25] sha1_name.c: get rid of get_sha1_with_mode_1()
Date: Tue,  3 Jul 2012 14:36:53 -0700	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1341351435-31011-4-git-send-email-gitster@pobox.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1341351435-31011-1-git-send-email-gitster@pobox.com>

The only external caller is setup.c that tries to give a nicer error
message when an object name is misspelt (e.g. "HEAD:cashe.h").
Retire it and give the caller a dedicated and more intuitive API
function maybe_die_on_misspelt_object_name().
