Subject: [PATCH 3/5] http-push: use in_merge_bases() for fast-forward check
Date: Mon, 27 Aug 2012 16:12:01 -0700 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <1346109123-12357-4-git-send-email-gitster@pobox.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1346109123-12357-1-git-send-email-gitster@pobox.com>
The original computed merge-base between HEAD and the remote ref and
checked if the remote ref is a merge base between them, in order to
make sure that we are fast-forwarding.
Instead, call in_merge_bases(remote, HEAD) which does the same.
