Subject: [PATCH v2 10/27] update-ref --stdin: Improve error messages for invalid values
Date: Mon, 24 Mar 2014 18:56:43 +0100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <1395683820-17304-11-git-send-email-mhagger@alum.mit.edu> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <1395683820-17304-1-git-send-email-mhagger@alum.mit.edu>

If an invalid value is passed to "update-ref --stdin" as <oldvalue> or
<newvalue>, include the command and the name of the reference at the
beginning of the error message. Update the tests accordingly.
