One of the goals here is to have enough information to generate git-compatible exports. Possibly through an extended version of hgweb (hgitweb?). So I'm eventually going to preserve both fields. The question is how. Do we want separate author and committer fields in Mercurial? -- Mathematics is the supreme nostalgia of our time.
