Of course. A certain magneto optical manufacturer created a 605MB drive,
which they marked as 640MB, trying to make it sound like it had the same
capacity as a CD. Even with 1,000 bytes 634,388,480 is quite a stretch to
call 640MB. I never found the footnote "____ defines megabyte to be 991232
bytes".
