Subject: Fix t5303 (the test case for pack corruptions) on Windows
Date: Wed, 25 Jun 2008 18:44:38 +0200	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20080625164438.GA4039@steel.home> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <alpine.LFD.1.10.0806232123420.2979@xanadu.home>

The perldiag(1) has following to say about this:

"Can't do inplace edit without backup"

	(F) You're on a system such as MS-DOS that gets confused if
you try reading from a deleted (but still opened) file. You
have to say -i.bak, or some such.
