That's right.

Using Savannah:http://savannah.gnu.org/

Or http://repo.or.cz

The former require approval to create the project but has more features 
(bug tracker...) and is somewhat faster (larger bandwidth), the later is 
simpler but do not require approval. I'm using both, and both are 
working fine.

There is probably others.
