help with reflog

help with reflog

My Log for 'HEAD' only has 14 entries.  Shouldn't it go back for 90 days?  I see nothing in the 'config' file.

what does 'git reflog show HEAD@{now}' say?

Did you initialize or clone *this*particular*repository* more than 90 days
ago?

Are you saying that the .git/config file is empty?
What does 'git config core.logallrefupdates' report?

Yes.  I've been working on it since August.

No, that there is nothing related to changing the default of 90 days.

true.

I'm guessing it wasn't on before, and the first time I tried the reflog
command (or whatever I was reading in the manual) it turned it on
automatically.
