I don't think this is the best.

We should probably have this in the Makefile:

  RC = $(CROSS_COMPILE)windres

And then config.mak.uname should have

  RCFLAGS += -O coff

>  	SPARSE_FLAGS = -Wno-one-bit-signed-bitfield
