* [PATCH] apply: fix access to an uninitialized mode variable, found by valgrind [not found] <cover.1233712140u.git.johannes.schindelin@gmx.de> @ 2009-02-04 1:50 ` Johannes Schindelin 2009-02-04 7:46 ` Junio C Hamano ` (2 more replies) 0 siblings, 3 replies; 5+ messages in thread From: Johannes Schindelin @ 2009-02-04 1:50 UTC (permalink / raw) To: git; +Cc: gitster, Don Zickus When 'tpatch' was initialized successfully, st_mode was already taken from the previous diff. We should not try to override it with data from an lstat() that was never called. This is a companion patch to 7a07841(git-apply: handle a patch that touches the same path more than once better). If so, then I think it solves the mystery valgrind errors I reported in the last paragraph here: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.git/98898 -Peff ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 5+ messages in thread
