Actually the one I had in mind was git push origin --delete one two:three four If it were git push origin --tags --delete=one --delete=four two:three it would be perfectly understandable, though. No, I am not saying that we should make --delete take a parameter, allow multiple of them, and make them compatible with --tags. At least not yet.
