He said the first thing he does in a wiki is to edit his user page.

Anyway, I don't see why are we arguing this, by well-intentioned I
meant not linking to party poker or something like that. He couldn't
know that editing his user page was frowned-upon since there are no
guidelines about it, so he didn't do anything wrong. Just unblock him.
