The real problem is that setting LANG won't help you on Mac OS X; set =20 LANG to whatever you want and there is *nothing* that you can do to =20 stop your filenames being normalized into decomposed UTF-8, short of =20 dropping HFS+. You can use an alternative filesystem, but support for =20 basically everything except HFS+ is suboptimal in Mac OS X at the =20 moment. Cheers, Wincent
