Subject: [Outreachy] Blog: Refactor in order to reduce Git’s global state (week 2)
Date: Mon, 22 Dec 2025 16:06:42 +0100 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <aUlegnAMlfFCiUmN@pop-os.localdomain> (raw)
Hello everyone,
I’m an Outreachy intern working on reducing Git’s use of global
environment state. In Week 2, I focused on deglobalising parts of the
attributes configuration by making repository-dependent lookups explicit
instead of relying on implicit globals.
I wrote a short report with more details here:

Thanks,
Bello Olamide
