Hi all

I have posted 2 patches against qgit to make it work (better) under MacOS X:
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2005126&group_id=139897&atid=744829
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2005125&group_id=139897&atid=744829

Comments are welcome.

When they are integrated, I will create a MacPorts port for even easier
installation for Mac users.

Best regards

Olivier

Thanks for the patches, I'll apply them.

Can I ask why don't you use qgit-2.X series ? being based on Qt4
should be much easier to make it work under MacOS X and it's a better
qgit overall.

Thanks
Marco

Great!

Sure you can, it is just because I overlooked the existence of the
version 2 :)

After compiling qt4-mac from source (it took quite some time), I have
been able to compile qgit2 too without a hitch, so I guess the patch is
irrelevant for qgit2. Are you using a different mechanism to access the
environment?

Sorry for my late reply, but I'm traveling these days.

No I don't use a different mechanism I always access the environment
through the Qt libraries, so probably the improvment is in Qt4 over
Qt3.
