Other than the inconvenience of having several prescaled size if needed, it results in identical results (as in-per-pixel) at the fraction of complexity and much faster at boot time (not all supported platforms even have FPU). The patch you probaly refer to is anti-aliasing which is a separate concept and the patch in question will be merged after 1.99 release. > ----- Original Message ---- > From: crocket > To: grub-devel@gnu.org > Sent: Wed, January 12, 2011 11:49:59 PM > Subject: Is grub2 capable of displaying truetype fonts? > > I wonder if it is possible now. > > > > =20 > > _______________________________________________ > Grub-devel mailing list > Grub-devel@gnu.org > http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/grub-devel > > =20 --=20 Regards Vladimir '=CF=86-coder/phcoder' Serbinenko --------------enigBDEA9751F05B7CC44AD0D90F Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: OpenPGP digital signature Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="signature.asc" -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.10 (GNU/Linux) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org/ iF4EAREKAAYFAk03CdEACgkQNak7dOguQgmnYgD/bJcEB1rnUv63nMP5Sh7/EkUT QYjtD31jsy8Y6vjhPN0A/R7e4FpPiuPTSpVjkuCk9AK+6hduBjRIyCSmAmHx68dN =DpdM -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------enigBDEA9751F05B7CC44AD0D90F--
