A new problem: I updated the git repo to latest and tried to re-build.
Build was started with:
./autogen.sh USE_GCC=any --disable-werror
./configure USE_GCC=any --disable-werror
gmake USE_GCC=any
However, compile fails as below. I cannot seem to get the compiler to
use gcc46 which is on my system - it insists on using clang.
