Subject: [PATCH i-g-t v2 0/1] tests/kms_cursor_legacy: relax checks on MTK
Date: Tue, 17 Mar 2026 16:40:13 +0800 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20260317084024.9036-1-xiandong.wang@mediatek.com> (raw)
From: Xiandong Wang <Xiandong.Wang@mediatek.com>
Hi,
This series reduces intermittent timing-related failures in
tests/kms_cursor_legacy on MTK platforms.
Under higher system load, the existing vblank timing assertions can be too
tight for MTK and may fail sporadically. The patch relaxes MTK-specific
upper-bound checks in the affected paths, while keeping the original
assertions unchanged for non-MTK drivers.
v2:
- Reword commit message to focus on test stability
- Keep existing strict checks for non-MTK platforms
