I have GIGABYTE motherboard with an integrated Intel display interface (Intel

I am running CentOS 6.6, kernal 2.6.32-504.16.2.el6.x86_64 I have downloaded the file: xf86-video-intel-2.14.0.tar from your web site but I do not know if this is the file I need or how to install it. I am not updating my Linux as I use it for PhD research in CS at OU and it works fine as is (other than the graphics problems, of course). Can you help? Thanks

Thanks Please try some fresh distro installer or live media on USB/CD; no need to actually install anything, just see if graphics work there.
