Why it was suspending/resuming - hard to tell, name of the test does not suggest it is PM-related, and the test binary does not seem to use PM controls. Maybe since previous tests were display-related, the card was considered unused and finally went to sleep. But the test itself actually passed, only assert warning was displayed while resuming. Regardless, no connection to the series under test. igt@xe_vm@munmap-style-unbind-userptr-inval-front: Looks like previously executed KMS-family test was still cleaning up something while xe_vm test got executed. Maybe that test exiting with error was the reason for the long freeze during the following test. Regardless, the execution was on PF, so this has nothing to do with VF migration. Also, previous revisions of the series (which had only minor changes) reported fails on completely different tests, none matches. The test asserted during resume. Why it was suspending/resuming - hard to tell, name of the test does not suggest it is PM-related, and the test binary does not seem to use PM controls. Maybe since previous tests were display-related, the card was considered unused and finally went to sleep.

But the test itself actually passed, only assert warning was displayed while resuming. Regardless, no connection to the series under test.


igt@xe_vm@munmap-style-unbind-userptr-inval-front:

Looks like previously executed KMS-family test was still cleaning up something while xe_vm test got executed. Maybe that test exiting with error was the reason for the long freeze during the following test. Regardless, the execution was on PF, so this has nothing to do with VF migration.


Also, previous revisions of the series (which had only minor changes) reported fails on completely different tests, none matches.

In conclusion, both fails are unrelated to the series being tested.
