When provisioning on OCI, terraform creates one block device for
the /data file system, and one for sparse files. This is unlike
other provisioning methods (guestfs and AWS being the primary
examples) which instead create a set of generic block devices and
then set up the sparse files or /data file system on one of those.
Luis and Chandan have agreed to changing OCI to work like the
other terraform providers and guestfs.

This seems to do what we want. For the moment, this facility is
gated behind a Kconfig boolean so you can revert back to the old
data/sparse configuratino quickly. Testing will confirm if we need
to keep this revert setting.

Thanks for the review. Obviously I forgot to test disabling the new
mechanism.
I'm still wondering if the old data/sparse set up code is still needed.
Instead of fixing it as you suggested, I could just remove it.

IIUC, we can specify the number of block volumes to create and attach (say 2)
to each cloud instance and then we specify the appropriate device node paths
as values for CONFIG_WORKFLOW_DATA_DEVICE_CUSTOM and CONFIG_FSTESTS_SPARSE_DEV.
If the above is true, then I agree that we could remove the data device and
sparse device set up code.

Yes, that is my thinking. The "number of volumes" setting won't be able
to go lower than 2, so we end up with the same situation as with always
having a "data" and "sparse" volume.
The patch will not remove the TERRAFORM_OCI_DATA_VOLUME_DEVICE_FILE_NAME
or TERRAFORM_OCI_SPARSE_VOLUME_DEVICE_FILE_NAME settings, so no changes
should be necessary to WORKFLOW_DATA_DEVICE_CUSTOM or
FSTESTS_SPARSE_DEV.
I plan to post an updated patch later today.
