BX_CPU_C::fetchDecode32(const Bit8u *iptr, bxInstruction_c *i, unsigned remainingInPage)
1.what is the meaning of ths iptr parameter? Is the content pointed by it a executable text region?

I think this question is quite far beyond linux kernel.
