This made me curious, so I asked around. Apparently it stands for "Thomas, Ingo, Peter" because it started out as a shared tree for Thomas Gleixner, Ingo Molnar and Peter Anvin. Today, it should really be called TIPPBD, because it's also shared with Peter Zijlstra, Boris Petkov and Dave Hansen. -K _______________________________________________ Kernelnewbies mailing list Kernelnewbies@kernelnewbies.org https://lists.kernelnewbies.org/mailman/listinfo/kernelnewbies
