Hi, everyone

In my system, NMI intrrupt counter is increased continuously,
which I found in /proc/interrupts.
How can I find the reasons of NMI interrupts?

How fast are they increasing?  A few an hour?  A few a minute?
50 or 60 a second?

What does 'grep -i nmi your-config-here' return?

   and I found the nmi couter is same with PMI.

My kernel config about NMI  is as follows :

CONFIG_DEBUG_NMI_TIMEOUT=5
CONFIG_HAVE_FTRACE_NMI_ENTER=y
CONFIG_FTRACE_NMI_ENTER=y

I bet 'cat /proc/sys/kernel/nmi_watchdog' returns '1'.

   In my kernel, there is no kernel paramter of nmi_watchdog and

Is CONFIG_HARDLOCKUP_DETECTOR not set in your .config?
