Everything seems to be ok. After I mounted the debugfs folder I can find all tracing stuffs there. The problem is not of all functions on my module seems to be listed in the funtions supported for tracing. In the file *available_filter_functions *that suppose to list all functions traced, only show 4 or 5 functions of my module. Does anyone knows why some functions are not listed? I made this change, declaring all functions as non static and the trace worked on then. Sweet! What made me get confused is that before this change, some of the functions traced correctly with ftrace were static. Congrats :) Well, perhaps it is something related to symbol lookup...but all in all, it's a good note for all of us..... -- regards, Mulyadi Santosa Freelance Linux trainer and consultant blog: the-hydra.blogspot.com training: mulyaditraining.blogspot.com ^ permalink raw reply [flat|nested] 4+ messages in thread
