Hi,
Is there a way to get the BIOS settings using ipmicmd? I'd appreciate it
very much if you could provide me with an example usage. What I am looking
for is a way to read the BIOS settings of a remote server.

You need to establish RMCP/RMCP+ session via ipmitool SOL function,
this is what we do to setup BIOS menu. Off course, the hardware need
to support SOL.

Hi,
It's really depends on hardware. Some vendors have this function, other not.
There are a number of ipmi "raw" commnds to manage this task on servers and
blades from T-Platforms, for example.
Ask your hardware vendor.
