Hi,
I am trying to write a driver for a USB based Data Acquisition Device.
I have limited access to the hardware device and I want to test the
attach and probe calls. Is there anyway to stimulate or create a dummy
USB device so that the kernel can make those calls.
Any information will be helpful.
Regards.

try to check USB emulation provided in KVM/Qemu... maybe that fits your need...
