Hi All,
My system (Montavista Linux 2.6.10) is flooded with n/w traffic. As a
result whole of the CPU time is eaten up by the softirq execution and
system gets hanged after some time. The CPU usage % is very high ( > 50%)
for ksoftirqd. I want to control the bottom half execution frequency/rate
so that the system does not hang.
There is an entity /proc/sys/net/core/rx_softirq_throttle present on the
system, can it help in controlling the softirq execution rate, how can it
be set for achieving that ?
Regards,
Devendra
