Adding a device support

Hello

I bought without checking its support a USB->VGA/HDMI adapter.

the Fresco Logic FL2000  .

Some code is at https://github.com/FrescoLogic/FL2000 .

But unfortunately unusable as is.

I would like to know if there is anything I can do to help getting it 
fully supported .

Or if there is another platform/ML I can or should contact .

Try forward-porting that driver and getting it to work?

There is no DRM support and not following the Kernel's "new" 
architecture, so since Linux 4.X or 5.X it barely compiles ... .

I have no idea (yet?) on how to do that,

I program a little, but not a driver/kernel coder at all ... .

Look at GitHub Issue 94. Already someone tried build in linux 6.2.

If you just want to use the driver, post an issue on GitHub or look at
it.

If you want to upstream your driver, read the Linux driver book first.
