Hi Folks,
I'm updating to a 3.5-rc1 based kernel and I have noticed that now kdump
is no longer working. The symptom is that when I
'echo c > /proc/sysrq-trigger'
I do crash the machine, but then nothing happens... i.e. the dump
kernel never kicks off. Initially I was using kdump version 0.7.8, but
now I have upgaded to 0.8.1-13.1.3, building from the open suse source
rpm (on sles11sp1).
Does this ring any bells for you? I'd appreciate any assistance you can
provide.
Thanks,
Ben
