Hello, all.
I want to use the patches [1]
written by Alexander Graf,
that, AFAIU, add to KVM possibility to create
nested KVM-machines
(in case it is running on AMD CPU with SVM-support).
I have several stupid questions about this.
My questions:
1. What is the best way to download these and similar patches?
I cut-and-paste them from mail-list archive but I understand
that there should be a better way.
2. To what version of KVM I should apply the patches?
Is there universal method to find for what version
of kvm a patch is suited?
Please, help me to find the answers.
Thank you for any answers.
I understand that my questions are general,
so they should be covered in some doc.
If you could send me any useful link,
I would be thankful too.

I usually save the mails as .eml files and git-am them.

Whenever you see patches, they are usually supposed to apply to the
"current git" of the time they were posted at. This applies to my
patches too.
Please keep in mind, that you'd need to fiddle with the userspace
parts too, so the svm cpuid bit is actually exposed.
Alex
