Subject: [PATCH v4 7/9] x86/kvm/nVMX: introduce source data cache for kvm_init_shadow_ept_mmu()
Date: Mon, 8 Oct 2018 21:28:11 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <20181008192813.30624-8-vkuznets@redhat.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20181008192813.30624-1-vkuznets@redhat.com>
MMU re-initialization is expensive, in particular,
update_permission_bitmask() and update_pkru_bitmask() are.
Cache the data used to setup shadow EPT MMU and avoid full re-init when
it is unchanged.

Changes since v3:
- Use '!!' instead of '!= 0' when doing kvm_read_cr4_bits()
