Subject: Can't use USB devices in their designated applications on Windows Vista guest

Hi,
I have a really strange problem using USB devices in a Windows Vista (32bit)
guest. After adding a USB device (an Adroid phone or a GPS navigation device)
to the guest, Vista starts to install the driver(s) for the new device just as
it would do on real hardware.
However, when it comes to actually use that device in the Windows application
that came with it (for example Samsung Kies in case of the Android phone),
those applications do not recognize the device and keep waiting for the device
to be connected forever.
Any idea how I could solve this problem?
Thanks...
Dirk
