Hi Avi, hello list,

do you remember me? I'm the guy who's notebook (Samsung X11 T2300 Clusea) 
froze as soon as I started a virtual machine with kvm. Now I found the 
solution: A simple BIOS update did the trick. Thanks a lot and keep up the 
good work!

Possibly this is the issue fixed by 
http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists/linux/kernel/728180, and the bios 
upgrade simply enabled nx.

Regardless of that, it's great that you can now use kvm.  Have fun!

Hmm, there really was a change in kvm code between 2.6.20-rc7 and final 
2.6.20... So possibly this really is the reason. However, I'm happy it works 
now. ;-)
