Hello mighty KVM devs,
I have one simple question. What's the status of block/network PV
drivers for Windows XP/2003?
Thanks,
- Alessandro

What's the status of block/network PV >drivers for Windows XP/2003? PV network: Currently we have drivers for Linux, they are not yet fully production quality. The current performance is 450Mbps for 1500 mtu, tcp connection. There's plenty of low-hanging-fruits to gain performance here. As for windows, we will have in the near future; it should be straight forward implementation once we have the backend on the host & kvm. PV block device: First you can use the scsi emulation, it should provide much better throughput than ide. Second, Arjan van de Ven is working on Linux PV block device, once he'll publish the code one could build the front end windows driver.
