tags and branches in git?

tags and branches in git?

Hi Guys,
  As a git newbie, I cant really figure out how to peruse the tags and branches of KVM.  Can someone send me a hint or two?  I currently have the linux+kvm stuff pulled as per the Wiki and I can see the linux tags (e.g. 2.6.20), but not much else.

Does 'git branch -l "kvm*"' not show anything?

Perhaps using the 'git remote' command to setup the fetch will be 
better.  Or a newer git; some older ones did not fetch tags IIRC.  Which 
version are you using?
