Avi,
Sorry to bother you but on Friday I posted a series of patches to the
list but they haven't appeared. The subjects and introductory email is
below, were they received?
Regards,
Wink Saville
Subjects of patches:
[PATCH 1/3] kshmem documentation
[PATCH 2/3] kshmem implementation, configuration and makefile
[PATCH 3/3] kshmem modifications to actually use kshmem
[PATCH 1/4] ACE documentation
[PATCH 2/4] ACE implementation, conifguration and makefile
[PATCH 3/4] ACE modifications to actually use ACE
[PATCH 4/4] ACE simple test program
The introductory email is here:
subject: Shared memory and atomic code execution
Hello,
I'd like to receive comments on two patch sets
that I'm providing that allows code and data to
be shared between kernel and user space.
I believe this might be useful for KVM as it may
be a more efficient communication mechanism for
use between the host kernel and guest kernels.
Comments and suggestions are appreciated.
The kshmem patch set should be applied first
and then the ACE patch set.
Regards,
Wink Saville

The messages were not received by the list. It's probably some antispam
measure implemented on google and checked on sourceforge. I suggest
retrying, sending the messages either through an ISP or with an email
address that the antispam measures will allow through.

Do not meddle in the internals of kernels, for they are subtle and quick to panic.
