kvm-18 dependency kvm-api-9

Hello List
when trying to install the kvm-18 under kubuntu feisty I get only thus far
(dist-upgrade from today):

apt-get install kvm
The following packages have unmet dependencies:
  kvm: Depends: kvm-api-9 but it is not installable
E: Broken packages

with google I do not even one hit for kvm-api-9 :(

any idea?

kvm-api-9 refers to the api version exported by kvm.  You probably need 
a kernel upgrade to obtain it.  Maybe some ubuntu guru can comment?
