Hi,

After installing kvm-36, existing solaris 10 vm would crash during
booting up. New installation crashes also. With interactive GUI
installation, the vm would hang after X server comes up before language
can be selected. Mouse cursor would be stuck and without response. With
interactive text console install, the vm just crash after selecting time
zone information.

The command used is:

/usr/local/kvm/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 -hda vm1.img -cdrom /dev/dvd -boot
d -m 512

See attached screen shots.

Simon

There's a fix for solaris crashes in the git tree, commit ID 3959211b. It'll
be available in kvm-37. If this doesn't fix things for you, let us know your
host CPU type.

Amit

Due to maintainer error this will only be available in kvm-38.
