IMHO we need a mixture:
- kvm/environment setup
  autoserve tests/deploy
- Internal guest tests
  Implemented as client test, executed from the server. Composed of 
benchmarks, standard functionality, applications, unit tests, etc.
- guest installation, guest boot
  client  test that  execute on the kvm host
