I have no idea what those things are, so I don't know.  I don't think I 
know of any need for them.  But vendors have all kinds of crazy names 
for IPMI.

If they are IPMI management controllers, they idea is to allow you to 
configure the virtual IPMI interface to have the SDRs, sensors, FRU 
data, etc. that you need to emulate them.  That configuration is 
non-trivial; writing SDRs really sucks.
