Hello
I'm in trouble with a guest host that is not living on the same subnet
than the hypervisor that I would like to connect to my LAN through
802.1q VLAN ( ubuntu 12.10 server amd64 )
The hypervisor VLAN number is 30
The guest VLAN number is 110
See below the /etc/network/interfaces file of the hypervisor
# The loopback network interface
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
# For Guest-VM
auto em1.110
iface em1.110 inet manual
auto br0-110
iface br0-110 inet manual
bridge_ports em1.110
bridge_stp off
bridge_fd 0
bridge_maxwait 0
# For Vm-Mother
auto em1.30
iface em1.30 inet manual
auto br0-30
iface br0-30 inet static
address 147.215.1.25
netmask 255.255.255.0
network 147.215.1.0
broadcast 147.215.1.255
gateway 147.215.1.1
dns-nameservers 147.215.1.4 147.215.128.128
dns-search esiee.fr
bridge_ports em1.30
bridge_stp off
bridge_fd 0
bridge_maxwait 0
IF ANYONE COULD HELP ... Thanks a LOT

Not sure if this is the right list. You might get more help on the
qemu-devel list.

There isn't enough information here.. Which bridge do you connect your
vm to?
Are you attempting to configure a vlan interface in the VM?
Does the swtich you are connected to know about vlan configuration?
What behavior do you see on the VM?
Thanks
