Summary: host cpu usage is 100% all the time with XP guest

Initial Comment:
Hi,

My host is a HP laptop with a core 2 T7200 @ 2.00GHz,
running Ubuntu 7.04 with their stock kernel 2.6.20-16-generic and a manually compiled kvm-33.

When I run a windows XP guest, host cpu usage is always 100% even if the guest reports a lower cpu usage (see screenshot showing this behaviour). This behaviour doesn´t happen with a Linux Debian guest.

Guest is ran using:

qemu-system-x86_64 -smp 2 -hda win_xp.qcow -vnc :1 -net user -net nic &

Please advice on any test to help you identify this issue.

Regards,
Gildas
