hello guys,

i am using Debian Stretch with the default kernel. 

it is based on Vanilla-Kernel 4.9.30

why is this patch missing in the 4.9 Vanilla-Kernel ?

But it is included in the 4.4 Vanilla-Kernel.

The patch is there.  The code was further changed by patch
c54cdf141c40a5115774e91fc947c34e91df0259 in Linux 4.7.

how can i find out in future to which kernel version for example a patch
belongs if i have the url like above.

If you clone linux.git, you can use

git describe --contains c54cdf141c40a5115774e91fc947c34e91df0259

to find the version that first included the patch.
