Yes, I mean that if that revert fixes it, then this patch is the cause. Then it
would be helpful to see whether it is due to those more stringent precondition
checks and, if so, which codepath it is that leads to this function with an skb
that does not match those checks. Existing code should pass them too, even if
the checks where not there in practice before. Sorry for the confusion.
