Since 6.12 setting kvm.enable_virt_at_load=3D0 needs to be set at boot if t= he KVM module is enabled, if you want to use other virtualization solution beside = KVM.=20 The commit that introduced the new behavior is https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/b4886fab6fb620b96ad7eeefb9801c42df= a91741. To be clear it is not about the feature itself, but the default. I am also aware that this might be intentional; but given it deviates from previous/expected behavior, it seems like a regression.
