Per subject; etherboot is requiring tens of minutes just to partially
download pxelinux.0:

While the above snippet is from e1000, the same occurs with rtl8139.
If anyone has a handle one what this might be, I'd be very interested to
hear it; otherwise, I may pull my PXE bisecting scripts back out of the
closet and give them a shot.
