Date: Tue, 21 Jan 2003 06:28:28 +0000	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <marc-lartc-104313058330536@msgid-missing> (raw)

Hi all..

My box running on Linux kernel 2.4.2 with iputils
package ver 20001110-1. I have installed this for a
long time maybe for a year and it running well, but
suddenly this morning when I try to use the ping
command without option, it only send "one"
ECHO_REQUEST to the destination, as far as I know it
should send the ECHO_REQUEST continously until user
interrupt.

Is this somekind of trojan that infect my ping command
or anybody here have an idea how to fix this
problem..?

this is long listing of my ping :

ardi$ ll /bin/ping
-rwsr-xr-x 1 root root 34599 Jan 16
2001 /bin/ping
