Win2k ip=3D192.168.1.62/24 , Gateway=3D192.168.1.1 Linux ip=3D192.168.1.247/24 , Gateway=3D192.168.1.1 My problem is that somehow, the admin did something with the ipchains on = the server(192.168.1.1) and if=20 I exec 'tracert 192.168.1.247' from the win2k console it gives me the = route to that host, but if I exec =20 'traceroute 192.168.1.62' on the linux host the packets get lost. The same problem is with the ping , it goes one way ONLY!!!... My question is how do I do that all the packets that go out of the linux = box to bypass the gateway and go directly to my win2k...Do I have to add = a new route in linux, and if so, how? Win2k ip=3D192.168.1.62/24 ,=20 Gateway=3D192.168.1.1
Linux ip=3D192.168.1.247/24 ,=20 Gateway=3D192.168.1.1
